Is my sandisk 2gb mini card acting up????

i have notice for a couple months that when i try to put songs on my card/xv 6700 that it will give some kind of error mesg... well finally last night i had to create a new folder but when i tried to rename it a err msg came up but i was still able to create folder and put the songs in there.... but when i try to cut and repast the songs outside the folder then there is a different err msg (no i dont have the card lock) well when i tried installing a software from my computer my phone see the card but the software doesnt.... is there anything else i can do?????
