I don't know how many scanned the Dutch T-Mobile site lately: Since end of October, the carrier offers an official Dutch ROM upgrade for its MDA vario ii branded HTC TyTN (thank you pocketinfo.nl forum for pointing at this).
However, nothing was yet known about any upgrade for Germany.
Playing a little bit with the Dutch link I discovered that a German download site (as well as a UK site) has already been established.

I didn't try other countries but other "-TMxx" combinations may work. Just give it a try.
However, you will need a valid T-Mobile MDA vario ii serial number to download the upgrade.
