Default i-mate PDA2K and Wifi

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I find that the wifi on my newly purchased unit is flaky. I can be sitting rights next to the Belkin Pre-N router (which I know to be backwards compatible with 802.11g) and my i-mate can't seem to maintain a persistent connection to the router. It hangs for the longest time "scanning network" and then, when it finds the Belkin router, it stays connected for only a short while before the connection drops and the Belkin appears as merely "available."

Is the i-mate PDA2K notorious for week wifi? Any particular setting-selection procedures that I might follow?

Thanks.

Charlie

You might try disabling power save mode.

I have the same problem. The device seems stuck in connecting loop. Did you ever find out how to fix it.

Appreciate the response.
