I-mate not able to record straight into 4gbSD Card

Hey! I have an i-mate PDA2K and just bought a 4gb SD card. It seemed to be working fine to copy data into it. However, when I tried to record sound, pictures and video directly into the card, it didn't work. I just says that there is not enough memory available. The i-mate now crashes everytime I want to record straight in to the SD Card, which by the way lost all the data it had before. It works still fine to copy existing data into it though. Any thoughts? thanks a lot!

Have you tried another SD card of a lower capacity? Getting 4GB SD cards to work properly with devices is largely a hit-and-miss process.
