Cannot Connect My Jabra BT 200 To My MDA II.

I can pair them up without any difficulty and it states in the MDA II that it has bonded with it; however, I cannot hear anything through it when I push the "handset" button on the side. This is the version of the Jabra line that uses a dongle that enabled MDA I devices to be able to be "Bluetooth Enabled." On page 21 of their manual it states that I shouldn't have to purchase another headset since the dongle will no longer be needed and the headset itself will pair with any Bluetooth phone. Am I missing something? It's paired, shouldn't I be able to hear through it?

I'm not sure about the BT200 that was once used with the dongle setup, but I know that the regular, if you will, Jabra BT200 does work.
Make sure that the bluetooth headset is enabled, which you can find on the today screen and also make sure that the BT is set for discoverable.
In general Jabra and the MDA II do not like each other all the time, and it can be annoying waiting for the headset to kick in while the call is already answered.

The only difference between the BT200 and the headset for NON-BT phones is the dongle that comes with the NON-BT unit.

The dongle is actually a BT transmitter. It is paired to the BT headset, which can be used with a regular BT phone, but must be paired with the phone first.

I know I had a very hard time getting used to this headset; but once you get the process down, it works well. You need to make sure that:

1. You have the PPC paired with the headset.
2. The headset is not in stand-by mode (headset is blinking rapidly)
3. The headset is ON. When the headset is on, you should hear the hiss of air coming from the ear piece.
4. The volume is turned up.

If need be, you may need to repair the devices, or you may need to return the headset as defective, if after all this, you can't hear anything. The TS section of the manual doesn't give you a lot of information in fixing things if you can't hear any audio...
