Default Can I ressurect my old XDA II?

I have been using my old reliable XDA II since 2003 but just recently, I was trying to change the time to the daylight saving system because it did not change automatically and quickly enough. Since then, the time has not been right. In order to finally correct this, I tried soft reset and then full reset. As I was trying to install the final ROM update, the procedure could not be completed. On the device, a dark grey screen showed "serial and V1. 01". Since then, I cannot operate the device further. I have removed the battery and re-inserted it to no avail.
Please advise.
Kay.

Hi,
Even though I got no advice or suggestion on this topic, I finally succeeded in ressurecting my old reliable XDA II with some help from Pocket PC Techs. I sent the device to Pocket PC Techs who flashed the ROM for me after repairing the sync connection on the device. It was a job well done although my problem wasn't fully solved. After I received the device, the screen appeared rusty and I started experiencing a huge amount of dropped calls. I contacted Pocket PC Techs but they couldn't help any further. I also noted that the device details showing up on the device was incorrect and this gave me the clue to what was actually wrong. I therefore decided to replace the loaded ROM with the ROM that I originally downloaded from the Manufacturer - O2 in this case. My device is now working perfectly well but better that the T-Mobile MDA which I used in the interim.
Kay.
