Default quick q: maestro charger compatibility?

quick q:
to all you maestro/e570 users. What chargers (or battery life extenders) are the e570/maestros compatible with? I've heard the ipaq series, but i'm kinda looking for confirmation before i go ahead and e-buy a battery extender.. :|

I have a Maestro, and I use the Semsons PDA Battery Extender. It cost's about $10.00 and if you use High Power NiMH batteries, it can keep your device running pretty long.

Does pretty long mean >6 with b/l on med-high? (NI-CAD AAs, after No charge on maestro) or is that asking too much?

That is probably asking too much. If you do it right, you can probably get close to six hours of total run time but not if you drain all the way. And I wouldnt use Ni-Cad, they dont last nearly as long.

What I do is use NiMH batteries....

1.Charge before leaving
2.Drain above charge to 40% - 1 hour
3.charge/use on Extender - 1 hour
4.drain charge to 40% - 1 hour
5. charge/use on Extender - 1 hour
6. drain charge to 40% - 1 hour
7 charge/use on Extender - 1 hour
8. drain charge to 40% - 1 hour

So you could probably get almost 7 hours total....maybe. I just depends what your using it for. You can usually get 3 full charges out of a full set of NiMH batteries. Also, all that time the battery is on low. Check with Semson for any other specifics.
