Question about e755 screen

Hello all,
PPC novice here, so forgive the stupid question. I just bought a Toshiba e755. The screen is covered with white dots (not the pixels, I mean the glass itself). They organized so I'm guessing they're suppoused to be there. Just reassure me that they are and tell me what they're used for

Is this in bright light or sunlight, when you see the screen at an angle where the light reflects off of it? And you're seeing a grid?

If so, you're seeing the touchscreen, and that's normal. However, whenever you hold it in a viewable angle, it shouldn't really be noticeable.
