e335 mp3 song cut off

I copied an mp3 file from my desktop hard drive to the SD card on my Toshiba e335. The song plays 3 1/2 minutes and is 3504kb on my desktop computer. The song is cut off on my pocket pc. It is only 2556 kb and only plays for 2 minutes & 22 seconds. I used copy and paste in Windows explorer to get the mp3 song from my desktop hard drive to the pocket pc SD card. Can anyone help me get the whole song on my pocket pc. Thanks.
