Symbol MC50 wifi issue

I have a Symbol MC50

The other day I tried to get on a hotspot and could not, however my friend could so I know it was working (he was using samsung pda phone) I have my anttena power on. now I have a program on my PPC called PACE, it is used for my job I am not sure if it has somehow locked the wifi down so I can't use it?

Am I blatently missing something?

I also have the Pace Software and can't get my wifi to work, its like it is disabled. Did you figure out anything yet?
