Errrr that was posted over 8 months ago .. .

But those ROM versions are still the latest according to the iMate website.

Hi Mate,
I came across your posting about imate firmware update and thought may be you could help me.
I have a secondhand iMate Jam with
ROM version: 1.12.00 WWE
ROM date: 05/28/05
Radio version: 1.12.10
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.12.128 WWE
I can't afford the $60 US to join 'Club imate' at the moment, just to get the firmware updates.
Is there even a newer firmware to update? and if there is, would it help me with connecting my bluetooth headphones to my imate Jam (does the updates include support for bluetooth audio streaming A2DP)
I have been on google all morning trying to workout how I can use my new headphones to play and controll my music on my PPC and I can't seem to get anywhere.
Let me know if you know anything that can help my situation.

Well I bought my Imate JAM second handed so I just found out that there were firmware updates, I would not want to pay the 60 dollars clubimate wants to charge me to register my imate, so well I've downloaded a file that i found using the link in this page,

i-mate JAM ROM Update:

* Worldwide (1.12.128) read more | download (43.2 Mb)

thats the one I've downloaded, in my JAM I can read.

ROM version: 1.06.00 WWE
ROM date: 01/06/05
Radio version: 1.10.00
Protocol version: 1337.39
ExtROM version: 1.06.150 WWE

I've tried to update using the file I've downloaded but it tells me that its not for my device? which update is for my device, how do I find it, and what improvements should I expect.

i have a second hand i mate pocket pc and used the software here but loaded into i mate double click on it and sais not valid pocket pc application how do i load this in help please.
