i-mate woes

Is there anyone out there that has had as much trouble that I've had with the i-mate battery power and performing a hard reset on its own?

I liked the idea of a Sim-Free PDA Phone, but now I'm not sure. At least, when I had a T-Mobile I could get loaner phone while my was being sent back (and they sent a replacement immediately and you were charged if you didn't return it within 7 days.) Now I don't know where to turn to for tech support and the forum at Club-Imate is not at all helpful.

My AC Adapter charger no longer charges the unit. The only way I can charge is by using the Cradle. It takes forever to recharge and I get an average of about 20 minutes usage before it needs charging again.

I charge it before leaving home and reach in my purse to use it and its black needing a Hard Reset. I've had it.!
