Acer 311 - problems with display?

I had bought my acer311 weeks ago. Yesterday it started... When I am trying to tap on the screen it seem to register it but change occurs on quite different place on the screen. I was trying to restart (not hard reset) and I was trying to change align screen. Finnally I did hard reset and currently I cannot go over the align screen. When I finish my 5 taps it returns to the begining. Any idea? Does it mean that I have a hardware failure or maybe it can be some software problem? Please remember - this pda is 2 weeks old without any serious incident (fall down or something).

Did you get this resolved?

It sounds like a hardware issue I would take a backup and do a hard reset then try the screen calibration again during first time set up.
