Default first problem with my loox 720.....

I started to have a problem with my loox 720, and I'm wondering if anyone here has had the same problem so I can find out how you resolved it.

At least once a day now, I go to turn my loox on and nothing happens. I tried to soft reset and still nothing. The only thing that seemed to work was to take the battery out and reinstall it - then everything worked fine.

At first I thought this was a software issue, but the only software I had recently installed was Resco Sudoku. I rolled my ppc back with a backup file for a day, but I still was having this problem.

I found the problem now, I don't have to take out the battery to get it to turn on, I only have to push that little red battery catch up just a hair to get my loox to turn on.

I had never realized that this little red thing was a switch. I've never had to mess with the battery cover before, and I never had to take out the battery before. I was thinking about what I could put on this thing to keep it from sliding down through out the day- anyone have an idea?

Sorry to comment on this, but it is mentioned in the manual.

Sorry, no.

You know us lazy Americans never read the manual.

Thanks for mentioning it though.
