Default Problems with microsoft reader on Jornada 540

I'm new to the e book scene but purchased a book from amazon.com. It tells me I need to register my devices before I can read them, but it won't let me register my Jornada 540. I guess my softaware on my PDA is to old, but is there a way around this? I would rather read it on my PDA than my PC. Thanks in advance.

You might not be able to get an upgraded version of MSReader for your device, but you should try here just to be sure

If you want to be able to read the books on your Jordana, you might find a tool called convert lit will help you. Do a search for "clit.exe" on the web. We are not allowed to discuss this product in detail as Microsoft don't approve of the tool ... so don't ask any more questions about it :-)

You'll also need to have a Passport account before you can activate. Also the latest DRM books require Reader 2.0+, which I don't think MS supports for PPC2000.
