Default EM-500 vs. E-125

I'm trying to decide between the em-500 and e-125, can anyone give me advice?

The EM-500 has 16mb RAM, E-125 has 32mb. The EM-500 has an MMC slot (not sure if SD cards will work in it or not), but no Compact Flash slot. The E-125 has one Compact Flash slot and not MMC/SD slot.

I'd go with the E-125.

The EM-500 has a smaller form factor than the E-125.....so it depends on what's important to you.

I believe Casio E-125 overclocks better than EM-500. Although I owned both now I cannot remember. I still have my Casio E-125 overclocked to 200 Mhz! Mystery, PM me if you are interested. Thz.

I really liked my Casio E-125. It was a very solid construction, nice battery options (why can't I change the backup battery on an iPaq? Don't get it..), one of the best screens i've ever seen (just doesn't work outdoors), and excellent button layout for gaming with nav wheel. I am VER dissapointed it didn't develop like the iPaqs.. would love to see what a 2003 Casio PDA would be like!

Anyway, just a word of warning - my Casio E-125 died 4 months ago for no reason whatsoever. I have no been able to get it turn back on since 2 motnhs ago (no.. its not the batter, AC, screen, etc...).

Overclocking is easy if you don't mind poping it open.

It is a wonderful product. My favorite one yet! (possibly even stil after I get my h5555).

I have an EM-500

What I like about it: it's blue, the button format is good, um...I can't really think of anything else...

What I don't like about it: Doesn't take CF, big, only 16 mb internal memory (even if you have a storage card, it's a problem when you're trying to run big programs

A factor that I thought would be important (simultaneous button-presses) isn't at all.

I still like it though...I don't really know why...
