Default why did you get the 555x?

For those of you who bought this top-of-the-line PDA, what sold you? Wifi built in? more memory? larger screen? fingerprint?....what, in your mind, justified paying the increase in price from the 2215?

I ordered the 555x for the integrated wifi, nice screen (over other companies), new processor, and new os. I couldn't care less about the fingerprint scanner. The extra memory is nice but it wasn't big for me. I would have actually gone with the Toshiba e750 if their upgrade policy wasn't so horrid - I would have liked the jog dial and cf slot that the ipaq lacks. 0X

For me it was the extra memory(nice having everything on the device), built in wifi(no more sleevefor me....almost still use sprint cf card), new os(I'm finding alot of nice things with this os, plus it's very stable) and the new cpu(it's just fast). I still have my 5450 but I really like my 5555 much better, it's just the little things that added up to make it a better device.

If only it had a Consumer IR port on it, I would get one, but w/o that, and as much as I use it on my 3955, I can't live w/o it now.sure the 22xx has it, buit that has no WiFi.

I had the 5455... For me, it was double the memory, a new operating system, a faster CPU (mainly because of the bus speed), and a chance to ditch the buggy piece of #$@ that was the first 5000 series iPAQ. I've managed to migrate up from my original 3765 (I had a 3635 for a few days, but it was buggy, and I had a protection plan, so got a 3765 for my trouble), each time always selling my iPAQ for not much less than I paid for the new one. The 5555 didn't really cost me too much to upgrade... certainly less than the cost of a memory and O/S upgrade for the 5455, so for me... it was a no-brainer.

Now, if I could just get Calligrapher to work, I'd be a happy camper.

For me it was mostly the memory. I use GPS applications and long routes that don't run well in 64MB RAM. The WiFi is also critical to me.
