Default Who's gonna get a 5555?

How many of y'all are gonna drop the clams on the 5550/5?

I'm very tempted!

My 5450 is already prepped for its eBay debut at the end of the month. Just as soon as the ROM upgrae is released for the 54xx series my 5550 will be on its way.

I want to see what others are coming out with before I decide to get a 55xx or not.

Already sold my 5455 on ebay (got a get price on it too, almost enough to cover entire cost of 5555). I only hope amazon puts a link back up to pre-order as I am getting some GCs for them. 5555, has 128mb, new/faster processor and PPC2003, seems like a worthy upgrade.

I'm gonna hold off initially to see what quirks and bugs it has before I drop for one and see how others review it.

Yup, will definitely wait for 2-3 weeks, to see Jason/Janak's review.

My wife really likes the 5455 that I have.... Gives me an excuse to give her mine, and get a new one. She has a Palm Vx. I will wait a couple of weeks, to a month or so before I decide.

I really like the 5455, but 128Mb RAM sweet.

My 3970 is already tweaked out, so unless PPC '03 is a major upgrade I'll wait until major changes happen. I don't like being disappointed when it comes to purchasing products like this.

I'm hoping to pick a 5550/5555 when it becomes available. From everything that I've read, it sounds like it's not a major upgrade, so if you have a more recent Pocket PC it might not be worth it.

I'm retiring my old 3650 and really want to have the integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so for me, it -is- a major upgrade.

Cheers...

If I can afford a new Pocket PC, it will be the 5550. I'll hand my 3870 down to the wife, who will hand my old 3650 down to my daughter. :-)

Steve

P.S. Why didn't you make this a poll?
