Default Transferring data between SD cards

Hi All

My trusty 128 meg card is getting full, so I've ordered a 256 meg version

My question is....what's the best way to ensure I get ALL of the data from the old card to the new one.

My thinking is that I simply copy all the files to the PC and then copy them all back to the new card after inserting it in the iPAQ

Is it really that simple...? or are there some HIDDEN files on the storage card (can't think why there would be!) that wouldn't get copied across, just by simply 'copying' the data? :?:

personally that is the way i would do it. unless you are going to put it on your ppc and then transfer it to the card, but make sure you back it.

From you PC (using a card reader) copy all of the files making sure that any hidden files are also copied. Then copy them back onto your new card.

Alternatively, if you have a copy of pocketbackup plus (hmm... use the trial version!) you can copy everything from ur storage card/backup to your PC and then just copy it all back again later.

I just did it when i upgraded my SD card!
