Default Is there a better fitting case than Krussel for the 4705?

After reading the thread on cases, I went to Ebay and bought a Krussel leather case. I am not very impressed with how the Ipaq fits in it. The case is not snug, but loose. Is there a better case than this? The fact that it doesn't fit in the cradle is not a big deal since the battery lasts me a few days.

Take a look at the SENA case. Fits like a driving glove, well constructed, well priced, and it will work in the cradle.

I can recommend the Sena case too, after one month's experience.
I’m really content with it, mainly with its merit to work in the cradle
and with simple magnetic closure.

My personal preference is the Vaja case (www.vajacases.com). It is made of the finest Argentine leather and fits tightly at first, but after a while, like a glove. It is somewhat pricy at about $100 (including shipping). It's custom made and takes about 20 days from order to delivery - but it's worth it! Many different color and leather types available. I've had two - one for my original Ipaq 3650 and now for my new 4705. Good luck!

Do you store "spare" SD cards in your Sena case? I have one for my 4700, but I have an issue where when I use it to hold my two spare SD cards, the case doesn't really want to stay down. Was wondering if maybe I have a bad unit that I need to return, or whether its not worth keeping.

I too am used to Vaja cases - this is my first foray into Sena, and I have to say I'm relatively spoiled. But I really like the fact that I can cradle sync with the Sena - that's a big selling point for me.

Thanks.

I can also recommend the Sena case. Really fits like a glove and it is very nicely worked, in particular for that price (Comparing to a Vaja, which admittedly are beautiful cases). Also the 4700 goes really nicely in the cradle with the case on.

Hoever, I have made the same experience as RacerX with regards to storing SD Cards: The case doesn't close well when cards are in the slot, and the magnetic close just barely holds the cover down. If you want to carry around cards, you better get a case that has a different closing mechanism. The other issue is that it has practically no padding.

My wife has a Piel Frama for her 4700, and she likes it. It closes with a snap button and is well padded on the back and front. It also allows you to remove both memory cards while the case is closed. However it does NOT allow you to sync the 4700 while in the case.
Some people have complained about their Pocket PC's slipping out of the case. Well, if you plan to hold it upside down while open, this might happen. Obviously there is some wear out from taking it in and out of the case to sync.
