I found out that neighter the alarms (alarmclock) nor the reminders went off as they where supposed to. But when I started the ipaq then they went of. I don't know if there are any pattern, but there are only very few reminders/alarms that work as they are supposed to. I also very often found that reminders freezed my unit so I had tio do a softreset. And after the reminders/alarms vent off (to late of cours).
Also it seems like I have som problems connecting my isp for downloading mail. Somtimes it work, others it will not work. And after a softreset it works fine.
The only progs I have installed is Snails, mPhone2.6 and pocket pluss (which I now have uninstalled to see if there are any conflicts-but I dont think so because I had the problems before installing it as well).
I have noticed that many others has had these problems, so I'm quite sure that this is eighter a issue for ppt2003 or a problem with rom. As I understand there are problems with other ppt2003 than ipaq as well, so I do'nt think this is a hardware problem.
I saw a interesting article at pocketpc thoughts some minutes ago about units beeing slow at startup.

"Is Your 2215 Sluggish When You Turn It On?
Posted by Ed Hansberry @ 03:00 PM
When I got my 2215, it was incredibly fast but as always, things seemed to slow down just a bit as I loaded applications on it. One area in particular that was frustrating was powering on. It would often take 2-3 seconds for the device to be usable. Once on, it was fast, but that "resume" time was getting to be a real frustration.
I mentioned this to another Mobile MVP, Jared Miniman and he said his 2215 didn't exhibit this behavior but he recalled an experience he had with a Toshiba e700 series. He suggested I remove my CF card and see if that helped. Boy, did it ever! Now the device powers up just as fast as the day I bought it. Apparently there is something either in the Windows CE OS or some implementations of CF drivers that when resuming can take some extra time. Leaving my SD card in has caused no such problems. My Jornada 565 doesn't exhibit this behavior, nor did any previous iPAQs with the CF sleeve in place, but this may be unique to dual slot devices. I'll need to do some testing with my Axim. Fortunately for me, my biggest card is the SD card and I only use my CF memory card for music, so leaving it out is no big deal."
I wonder if that could have anything with the reminder/alarm problem to do???
If f.i the CF card steals to many resources on wakeup, or if there are any kind of other conflicts it could possible mess up the alarm/reminders???
So I wonder if those of you that having these problems if you are using cf cards as well. Im using a 512 kingston.
I think I wil try to take out the CF card and test the alarm/reminders then.
