Default Recording problem with voice notes

I'm experiencing a problem with voice notes on my iPAQ 3630: All recordings end up as static when played back. This condition started a few months ago - I upgraded to PPC2002 since, but the problem persists. System sounds and Media Player work fine, apparently only Notes suffers from this problem, leading me to believe it's a recording issue.

Any ideas/suggestions :?:

It sounds like you have a damaged microphone. The only way to know for sure is to perform a hard reset - if it still has the same problem, it's bad hardware that needs to be repaired.

Default Could try another recording program

Hi

I installed NoteM on my iPAQ 3850, It will record sounds as mp3.

Try http://www.geocities.com/zavorine/wince/mp3.htm

Maybe Notes is corrupt?
