Default Purchasing an HP

I plan to purchase a new HP handheld. I want one with lots of memory and easy to use. I don't need a phone or camera. Any advise?

It all depends on your needs. First, the most important deciding factor whether you need VGA or not. If you need it (and I think you will - it's hard NOT to use the real capabilities of a VGA PDA!), only the hx4700 remains. However, it has only 64M RAM, which isn't the best today, so you may want to look around for alternatives (Toshiba e830, Asus A730w and Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket Loox 720 are the alternatives with 128M RAM). You can, of course, purchase the PPCTech 128M RAM upgrade for the hx, but it costs 200 bucks and also nullifies your warranty.

Also, a lot depends on where you are. Europe? The Pocket Loox and the Asus are the cheapest. Canada? The Toshiba. The States? The Dell x50v.

So, do you need VGA at all/where are you located?
