Default Purchase h1935 vs. h2210?

I am upgrading from my Palm to an iPaq. I was about to purchase the h2210 for $400 and saw the h1935 is now available for $200. I am a moderate user looking for MS Outlook integration, external keyboard, wireless, and potentially GPS in future. Specifically, how important are the SD and CF slots and Bluetooth which seem to available in the 2210 but not 1935. Also, how important will the 400mhz processor be in the 2210 vs. the 200mhz in the 1935?

Other considerations?

Thank you for your feedback!

You might want to consider that as an external keyboard is a priority for you, you may find it difficult to get a keyboard to work with the 1935 (from my understanding)

The processor clock speeds are different, however, the device performance is not much different.

The 1935 has an SD Card with SDIO so you can use this for a memory card or WiFi card later if you wish, however, having CF as well allows you to have (for example) a dedicated memory card and use the CF for expansion options (like WiFi, cameras, VGA output etc). If you are not a power user, this matters less.

If you are looking at the low end of the market (i.e. the 1935) - why not consider the 1940 which is identical except that it also has bluetooth which is useful (assuming you have a little patience with it when setting it up)

If you want to use GPS - you will need either bluetooth or a CF card slot to connect to the GPS

Hope this helps

Thanks for the information. As I continued my research, I did notice the 1935 had one SDIO slot.

Also, I noticed the OS different --- the 1935 has MS Pocket PC Professional and the 2210 has MS Pocket PC Premium. Is there much of a difference?

In terms of the two options, it's really cost --- the 1935 is $200 vs the 1940 at $300. I will go ahead and buy the 2210 at this point.

I also agree on the keyboard. I have not been able to find one for the 1935.

Thanks again.

well said,.. just got an 1945 (after an 5450) and I am a happy camper !! , Size matters after all and the speed and stability is great.
This little device delivers what I need, Bluetooth, SDIO, just what I use on a daily basis, activsync and web browsing using my T68i works great..
what more can I say.... goodby to the "Brick" !!!!!
By the way, I purchased it at COSTCO for US$ 269.00

If a brick and mortar warranty doesn't matter to you, you should be able to get a 2210 online for about $350.
