Default Problems with my 1910

I just bought a refurbished 1910 from HP. I have added a Rhinoskin aluminum case (that I love) and a SanDisk 256 mb card. It worked ok for the first couple of weeks but last Saturday the battery completely drained and I lost everything. HP was cool and sent me a replacement battery. Ever since I've been having trouble.

First annoying thing. With the memory card in the unit, when I try to delete a file in file explorer, the file will get deleted but the little busy icon never goes away unless I do a reboot.

Second annoying thing. When I try to set up custom menus, the original icons in the programs folder for the programs I have added to the menu appear as unknown file types. So I can't really change the start menu unless I make shortcuts of the icons on my PC and drag them to the start menu folder.

Third and most annoying thing. I can't change the today screen. When I try to play with the themes or today setup, the unit locks up.

The unit has ROM version 1.02 and I'm not sure what the latest version is. I'm also not sure if there is a limit to the size of memory card I can use. Any help will be appreciated.

Default iPaq 1910 problems

A problem with batteries discharge was discussed back in June (I'm new to forums and don't know how to link, sorry). hp have taken my wife's machine back for the second time. Rang to say they were replacing m/b and battery last Wednesday and since have been silent - a long run in test? As usual, action if customer chases.
