Bill told me that the release date was June 2. I guess the PPC development guy has gone on vacation so things are running late again.

It might be longer than that! It may take OEM's a while to release their updates. This is only referencing the MS Launch Date, not the release date for your device's new ROM.

REALITY CHECK!

Probably not... Again, it may have something to do with when the OEM's are done integrating the new OS into current ROM **IMAGES** like for the 3900's and 5400's; and into NEW machines.

If we see ROM upgrades for ANY existing machine on this date, I'll be totally amazed.

But, hey... I could be wrong, and hope that I am!

Don't OEMs get the OS before release so they can actually have a device out that has it on it?

I would doubt you'd see an update for an existing device on this date, but you may see a new device on this date or soon thereafter.
