Default Please help - Syncronizing problems after getting new desktop PC.

Here's the scoop:
I was running WIN98 with ActiveSync 3.7.1 Build 3244 and everything worked perfect.

I got a new desktop PC with WIN2000 Professional and reinstalled the same version ActiveSync. Everything syncs fine except it gives me an error when trying to sync my NOTES.

"Syncronization cannot be started because you are not able to log onto the network..."

I tried troubleshooting with the MS Knowledge Base Article 243029 where I replace the Mapi32.dll file, etc. and I still get the same error.

What can I do to get my NOTES to sync?

Thanks!

did you set some sort of server sync in activesync on your ipaq?

if you're trying to get your notes from the ipaq to the desktop, try copying them by hand, then reinstalling everything and syncing again.

(notes are in the my documents directory)

sorry if i don't have "the" solution, never had this problem before.

Thanks for the reply.
When I did the computer switch I didn't touch any settings on my iPaq.

I'm trying to get the notes from my desktop to automatically sync to my iPaq.
It's saying "One or more information types cannot be syncronized. Disconnect and reconnect your device"
