Default password problems (43xx)

i have a 4350, and i had a 4 number password on it. i did a soft reset, then after it was done re-setting, it asked for my password (normal behavior). but after i put in the last digit, it just freezes...nothing happens. i reset again, same thing. i know that it's capturing the password because when i put in wrong passwords, it does its normal thing when it rejects bad password (shakes the screen, then dialogue box).

i tried searching in the forum, but couldn't find anything relevant.

worst comes to worst, then i go home, do a hard-reset then re-sync all my data.

Sounds like you have a software conflict.

Try sync'ing without punching in your password. You might be able to recapture most of your data anyway, and then you can do a hard-reset.

See if it freezes too when you enter your password on the PC... which it will ask once you sync it...

Do you remember what were the last few applications you installed or removed? Where were they installed? main memory or SD Card?

BTW, do you have an SD card in it? Try taking it out first...
