Default Is this not possible?

I have the iPAQ hx4705.

At home, is there an easy way to use the connection on my computer for the iPAQ? If so, do I need to buy a special router or something?

Thanks

Do you just want to get online with your iPaq? If you don't mind using the iPaq while it's in the cradle, just turn on Pass Through in ActiveSync. To do that, open Active Sync, then go to Tools > Options > Rules tab, and make sure the Pass Through section has "The Internet" connection chosen.

If you want to use wireless, I'd recommend using WiFi (802.11b). If you don't already have a wireless network, you can either buy a wireless router, or a USB adapter for your PC, which can then share your internet connection with your Pocket PC. Routers are the way to go though, especially if you have a broadband Internet connection.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. I'm sure you know how to sync your iPAQ to your PC. Are you wanting to display your PPC screen on your PC? If so, use Remote Display Control You can download a free copy here: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pocketp...tedisplay.html

If not, what "connection" are you referring to? An internet connection? If so, then yes it is VERY possible and pretty easy to set up. You'll need a wireless router to do that.

Hope this helps!!!
