Default My 5450 urepairable? is motherboard pxa255?

My 5450 showed error -fingerprint driver can not load despite humpteen number of hard resets following it's fall on the floor.
Now the Hp called me to tell me that the motherboard needed to be changed and that it costs me 224.49$. Though it is still under extended warranty. :devilboy:
They did not tell me if the motherboard has PXa255 processor or the old 250. Does anyone know if HP is still using 250 ARM processors? If there is no new processor installed, the 224 dollars is probably not worth spending now as I would rather wait for a 8O new one.

Default send it to me

I will pay the $224 to get it fixed plus shipping to take it off your hands.

It could be the interconnect between the button board and/or the buttonboard itself. We have both parts available. We would need to see the system to give a complete estimate. But it should be considerably less than $224.

I was bit too late the HP had already shipped my IPAQ. I have to wait and see if the processor has been changed.
Thanks
