Does anyone know where to put Media Player Skins after you download them? i have the 4705 and I have tried a few places but they dont show in the chooser!
Skins extracted should be contained within a folder of its own. Simply copy that folder to \Program Files\Windows Media Player\ and it should appear in the skin chooser.

Yeah...some of the older skins have trouble being rendered in WMP for WM2003SE. I think you can bypass this if you edit the .SKN file but obviously, you would still need the right graphic files for it to work on a VGA resolution as well as in both the portrait and landscape modes.

Hi, new to this site having just purchased my first pda. Where can I get hold of media player skins from?
Microsoft have a selection on their website. You can see these skins here. Otherwise, there are others available made my skin enthusiasts - but because there are so many out there, Google may be your best option. This will get you started.

Thanks Darius!
Downloaded some from the microsoft site, but I'm having the same problem as Lasher, in that I can't see them?
I suspect it has to do with the fact that your version of WMP is designed for WM2003SE which is optimised for both portrait and landscape mode, so you would require specially designed skins to accommodate for this. If you read in one of the earlier posts, I believe a .SKN editing job can do the trick, but you'd need the right graphics to make it work.
I'd try it, but I don't have a WM2003SE device so I can't give this a shot unfortunately. :?
