Default Loose Stylus

Hi,

My stylus holder in my iPaq 3955 doesn't grip the sylus anymore. The spring "ejector" works, but if I turn the PPC upside down, the stylus falls out.

Anyone else have this problem?

Any fixes?

TIA

This is a known problem with the 3600 series, but maybe it holds true for the 3900s too. This happened to my 3650, but not my 3870.

I had this issue with my 3670. My solution? Get a new stylus.

Apparently, the notch on the stylus that the thing in the silo catches on can get worn, reducing the holding power of the thing in the silo. I haven't had this issue yet with my 5550 but seeing as how the stylii still have notches, I assume that it's possible that stylii are still held in by things in the silo.

Yeah, it's nice that older iPAQs included an extra stylus. I remember now that I did use the second stylus on my 3650, but it wore out even faster than the first. :|
