After 4 years of having random PDAs, I finally cracked the screen on one
:-( I had my Ipaq 3765 in the protective sleeve in my pocket and bumped into
the corner of my computer desk. I guess I hit it at just the right angle
because I heard an odd sound and found a spider web crack on my screen.

I have the extended warranty from Best Buy but I suspect that isn't going to
help me in this situation. Does anyone know how much a replacement screen is
going to cost and where I coudl get one? Thanks!

Isn't the best buy warenty a carry in replacement type thing? You just take it in and they give you a new one, no matter what the damage, right?

Trust me I kjnow the feeling that you have with a cracked screen. Try http://www.pocketpctechs.com/ they do excellent work and are fast. Tell them that iPocket bungee folks sent you, then get a bungee to prevent a drop at www.ipocketbungee.com

The advice is, get a pocket bungee and prevent dropping it, but if he had had it hanging from his wrist, it would still have cracked. The bungee will not prevent this will it? If you let the unit go, and it swings from your wrist, and it bangs into something, it will still crack.

If you have a better case, and you drop your unit, bang it into something, or what-have-you, then the unit will be protected.

How is the bungee going to prevent the unit from swinging while attached to your wrist and cracking the screen?
