Default iPAQ H1945 and Wireless SDIO Problems

Hello,
I am new to the iPAQ and was able to get an H1945 and Socket SDIO card rather inexpensively. I am having difficulty matching up the correct WVLAN software and drivers for this card. I have visited Socket's website and HP's website and cannot get this card to recognize my local wireless network. Can someone provide any suggestions or point me to a good site or link that can step me through the process of adding a WVLAN card to the iPAQ H1945. This is a Pocket PC 2003 Professional eddition and the system OS version is Windows CE 4.20. The SDIO VLAN card is a Socket 8510-00204 A. I have insatlled and removed severl versions of drivers perfoming a soft boot between each test. When I do get the iPAQ to recognize the SDIO WVLAN card it will display the radio tower icon in the top left hand corner of the screen with a "!" and not allow me to perform any input while it is searching for networks - this can last up to several minutes. I do not have the CD that came with the SDIO card.
I would appreciate any and all suggestions.
Regards,
Q
