I've been trying to upgrade my iPAQ 5455 to WM 2003 for a few weeks now.

The 2003 ROM install program is displaying "garbage" information when reading the version and language info from the iPAQ (This is right when it shows your current rom version and language). The install says its not compatible and I am unable to continue.

iPAQ Plugged DIRECTLY to USB on computer (No usb hubs).

Spoke to HP and sent my unit in for repair twice, now they sent me a NEW unit and still the same issue. ANY IDEAS? HP is also sending another copy/version of the 2003 Install CD (Got mine way back when it was first released and they have a newer version now I guess).


Any ideas?
