Default iPAQ 5450/1910 - contains EUU3?

Browsing the HP site this morning, noticing that both the H5450 and the H1910 have the "Teletubby Bliss" today theme. This means EUU3, right?

Or at least some of the press shots of these devices do...

So, from a marketing perspective - why would HP sabotage the release of the 1910 or 5450 by releasing the EUU3 now? Methinks they're going to wait until after the holiday season. Any disagreement?

Yea, because I don't think anybody would believe that a significant number of folks would just go ahead and buy a new PPC because they can't wait for an update to the one they have.

And those that would, might take note of the fact that the manufacturer of their handheld is slow getting updates out, and opt for a different one.

It is easier to incorporate the new features (EUU3) in a production model than create the files and instructions end users need to 'painlessly' upgrade their own. I'm sure they want the user upgrade to be as bulletproof as possible to avoid irritated customers calling the helpline for RMAs.

Have you looked at the Toshiba update instructions? (It is more than just EUU3 granted). That is a going to be a customer support nightmare. You want ...1) download file, 2) run exe, 3) wait for prompt and reset.
