After having upgraded my iPAQ 4705 to WM5 the dialup connections I have setup no longer show up in the "Connections" ballon to dial after having tapped the Connections Status Icon. Has this feature been removed in WM5?
I don't either. I found the only way to dial out is to go into the connection manager and tap and hold the connection name and click connect.
Whats worse is it seems like 60% of the time I switch on my 4700 it wants to dial out - when it connects I can't actually browse the net or anything - I have no idea what its doing . I have to disconnect and connect again to make it work no matter what.
I'll probably call tech support about this, but I doubt they will be able to help at all.
So I called support on this issue - they haven't heard of it (of course). I got a case number and he claimed he'd report the issue to engineering. All they could suggest was to do a hard reset and see if the issue went away.
