Default Ipaq 39xx but what model #?

Hey,

Just inherited an ipaq 39xx, i thought the 3900 was the model number however i've been on the hp site and played around with my ppc and haven't found specific model info. I don't have any user manuals, cd's etc. anyone know how to tell which 39xx series model it is??? It has bluetooth if that helps.

thanks

It's a 3970 or 3975. Their identical and have different model numbers as they are sold by HP/Compaq through different sales channels

The exact model number can be found on the back of the device.

It should say the specific model number, look next to the Serial Number, to the left of it. IT should say "MODEL," then under it the specific model, though the 3970 and 3975 are indeed identical. No, non of the 3900 series comes with built-in WiFi, and non other iPAQ does. ...yet

Don't sweat it delfuhd. There is so much going on in the PPC space and there are so many models now that it's hard to keep track. Wasn't my intent to "rebuke" We all make mistakes.
