Default iPaq 3970 SD Card Support

can 3970 support 1GB SD Card?

Yes. SD is unlike SmartMedia, which did need specific "server-side" support. Generally, even "older" PDA's support big cards.

There're some exceptions, though. For example, my iPAQ 3660 + the PCMCIA sleeve wasn't able to recognize my 512M CF card. The same card + PCMCIA sleeve worked flawlessly with an 5450, though.

I don't think, however, that the 1G card woulnd't work with the 3970, especially with a WM2003 one.

I have had a report before of a user failing to get their Sandisk 1GB SD cards to work properly on their iPAQ 3970, but I believe this is a one-off problem. There shouldn't be an incompatibility problem otherwise.
