iPaq 3760 Bios Upgrade. Thinks it's a 36xx

Default iPaq 3760 Bios Upgrade. Thinks it's a 36xx
I've just attempted to upgrade the Bios on my 3760..

The download from Compaq stated that it's for the 3760, specifically SP22277, and will update the Bios to 2.20..

When I stated the update it stated that it wouldn't upgrade the bios as My iPAQ is a 3600......

The label on the back of the iPAQ states it's a 3760..

Any thoughts?

Where did you buy your ipaq. If it was used, the ipaq 3700 series casing could have been put on to replace a broken or scratched casing. Just a thought.

it is a hand me down. But it came from a fellow employee. In it's box and never just..

I think a call to Compaq warrenty to see what they think the Serial number points towards.

Never just??

I meant to say never opened.. As in still sealed with compaq Tape..
