Default iPAQ 2200 series

Here's a pic of the 1910 replacement. Enjoy.

It is real. This came from an HP roadmap paper that was given to me by one of their reps.

Doesn't say. That picture is all that I was given. I mean, there's more than just *that* part of the picture, but that's the only place where the 2200 is showed.

Default NDA

I hope you did not sign any non-disclosure agreement with HP. Otherwise, you would be in deep trouble if this was true. Since I assume HP wouldn't tell anything without getting a NDA signed, the possibility of above being true should be low.

Nope. I didn't signed anything.

As for being real, well, you tell me.

NDA´s are not THAT frequently signed, more often then not presentations happen in an atmosphere of trust.

Maybe this H2200 will be an addition to the range rather than replacing the 1910?
The case looks to be different and I like the way that there does not seem to be too much bulk added around the screen.
If true, this is potentially a great PPC. I'm sure HP will have SDIO on this one and hopefully sort out the memory deal as well. Plus of course we know now that we can run the 20mHz chip at 300 mHz.
Embedded BT as well as all this in a package not much bigger than the trusty Vx? Sounds like a winner to me.

Sure... sounds like a winner but remember that HP still wants to clearly separate their high-end device and their low-end device. Hopefull they don't aim this device as their new low-end device and instead aim for a middle-end.

I sometimes wish another manufacterer had come up with the 1910 design, then I'd be more confident that a future device would be more beefy without sacrificing size.

I have learned from another source that the iPaq 2200 will have SD and CF slots built in. Also it will come with the new PPC2003 operating system.
