Default HX2495 vs Dell Axim X50 or X51???

I have been looking at these on eBay and looks like the Ipaq 2495 is going for more money in general. Is this because it is that much better quality, or is it because Dell has stopped making Pocket PCs?

Neither - it's because Dell tended to occupy a lower price point then HP did. IIRC at their original retail prices, I think the 2495 went for something like 20% more than the x51v.

If you're comparing the two, you might want to look at more than just the price (that is, if you can). I've read more complaints about the Axim pdas than I have about the 2495. That was one reason why I went with the 2495. And I am still enjoying my 2495!

What's really ironic about HP/Dell comparisons is that both devices are made by the same company - HTC.

Default An apples and oranges comparison...

I realize this is straying far off my original question, however,
does anyone know how Palm (T/X or Lifedrive) stands up in quality compared to the HP HX series?
