While your iPaq has a SIM slot, this slot is not functional and never has been. While originally intended to be a PDA phone, this design decision was never carried through.
As to GSM/GPRS cards, I would advise against it, because:
1. Their very expensive (more than a decent phone).
2. You need to use a wired headset with them, they will not route incoming audio through your iPaq's speaker.
3. You need to have your device ON AT ALL TIMES to receive incoming calls - this will kill your battery runtime.
And welcome to PPCT.
PS: Please do not use large fonts - on a forum such as this, it's the equivalent of shouting at people.
