Default HP IPAQ 210 is finally for sale (again)

Hi all,

I didn't see this posted anywhere. I've been checking the HP site every few days for the IPAQ 210. Yesterday, I noticed that they removed the "Coming in 2008," and the rep I chatted with said to expect it late February or March. Well, I checked back today and found that I can add it to my cart. A rep I chatted with today said that they're now available, much earlier than he expected. You can find the product page under the Small & Medium Business:

When I added one to the basket and clicked to see what the check-out process would be, I got the following specs (note the biometric reader):

HP iPAQ 210 Enterprise Handheld FB040AA#ABA
HP iPAQ 210 Enterprise Handheld

I was all set to buy this thing, until I realized that it doesn't have jog buttons on the left side to navigate up and down. It seems to only have one button and one switch. :-( Here I was ready to have this replace my Axim x51v.

Default HP 210

I called HP yesterday to order a 210 and was told that it was not available until summer and that I should buy the HX2795 instead... that it was practically a clone of the 210 in both specs and price. I declined but now am wondering what the heck is going on!
