In so far as I know, PPC have been able to do this from the start. Hell I was able to do that with my Palm-Size PC, with respect to PIM function. ActiveSync (mostly) does this accurately. The only problem is for files.
My archaic version of ActiveSync (3.1, build 9386) does this for PIM data, and files. The files sync facility allows you to specify a directory where sync'd files go to / come from, under the settings button. So technically just specify the sync directory.
Give each PPC a different name, and away you go. Configure each partnership to sync the appropriate data/files and you're home free. Or at least you would be for my version. My PPC is sync'd between two computers, and my home computer syncs two PPC (my wife's and mine).
