Default How do u encode avi or mpg files to wmv??

I would like to know how to encode files in wmv format ??

This tutorial shows one method.
Microsoft Windows Movie Maker 2 is another good method that is FREE.

You can use the free Microsoft Windows Media Encoder. Alternatively, all good video editing applications should be able to handle the job well.

In general, you don't need to convert mpg files.

Just get PocketTV Classic (free from www.pockettv.com ). It plays MPEG on Pocket PC's .

or get betaplayer. it plays almost any video codecs 8)

no, currently, for video, it only plays DivX.

it's a very good DivX player, much better than PocketMVP.

they have plans to support mpeg-1, but we have not heard of them supporting "almost any video codecs". in fact this would be impossible due to the limited memory in mobile devices.

oops my mistake...... betaplayer doesnt support mpeg. sorry about that. Get both programs and you dont need to convert anything.

yes, you need to convert anything which is not WMV, DivX or MPEG.
