Default HELP! Battery Door Falling Off

My battery door is starting to come off of my iPAQ 2215 one of the plastic pins next to the latch has broken away from the battery door.

What do I do? If the other pin comes off also the device won't power on because when the door is ajar or off.

It's working fine for now because the remaining pin keeps enough pressure to make contact.

Is it the battery door itself? If so, order the replacement grips from HP, they include a new battery door with the kit...

Call HP support and order a new door. They are free. You will also get new side grips as a bonus. You can do a forum search on this board as well as on Brighthand for extensive threads regarding side grips on the 221X. You need to ask the HP tech for the plastics kit for the 221x.

Good luck,
Jim
