Default Going into standby after an alarm

Hey Guys,

Firstly, thanks for having me. I'm new to this forum :-)

Next, my one biggest gripe about my iPaq 5450 is that it wont auto turn off after my preset 1 minute of non use after being stiched on by an appointment alarm or whatever.

If, for whatever reason, I dont dismiss the reminder and switch off my iPaq manually it will stay on until I do notice or the battery is drained (usually the later), and of course its when the battery is drained that I find I need it.

Am I just missing something?

Please forgive this newbie if this has been posted regularly before but I couldnt find a similar problem through a search of the forums.

Welcome to the forums!

This is actually unusual. The Pocket PC should turn off (although, depending on your preferences, the light should keep flashing). Have you installed any programs on it that might let you tweak alarm behavior that you know of?
