Hi people, Could do with a little help from any of you experts. Have just purchased a second hand 3630 and was wondering how to do a soft reset to get the compaq back to its original state as i seem to have some software problems. Have searched internet and this forum yet can not find how a soft reset is done. If you want the "original state", you actually want a hard reset. Look on the bottom of the unit, on the left side; there's a little door. Open the door using the stylus, which should yield a switch inside. Flip the switch, wait about 30 seconds, and then flip the switch back. Your device's data should be erased (unless some Permanent PIM features were used).
