Default Changing background picture...

I just picked up a HP 2215 and I was curious, is it possible to change the background picture? I have explored a little and cannot find any way to do this. There much be a way...

Easy as 1-2-3:

(1) Tap Start --> Settings
(2) Tap on "Today"
(3) There should be an option called "Use this picture as the background"

Cool......

Now the next question would be, what format should any new background be in? I tried to use a .jpg and it showed up all faded and just didn't work.
Are there any sites online that have background photos to download?

You can use any of your standard picture file formats (e.g. JPG, BMP, etc.)

The "fading" that you see has always been an oddity but is a mechanism implemented by the OS to make the text on the today screen more legible. That is why it may be more preferential for you to make your own themes - this way, the picture doesn't appear faded.
